August's kit at The Paperie was filled with pastels from the Studio Calico 'heyday' line & Dear Lizzy lines by American Crafts. It was a beautiful kit and if you were lucky you might have nabbed one.
I've already blogged two layouts I made using the kit here & here but I haven't shared the others and thought that today was no better a day than any other!
This kit was perfect for the sweet colors of summer and lent itself perfectly to some old camp photos that I had lying around.
I gave each of the pictures a number using some Lawn Fawn stamps and then used the jar for my captions .
My title is actually a quote if you could see it there.'We all have to say goodbye so that we can say hello again'. I love that saying.
This one is a collage of a bunch of shots from a recent trip to the cottage in early June. This was Eugene's first road trip & we all had a blast!
These teal letters by SC were awesome. Love, love, love the color.
And the cameras-my favorite accessory. I love the wood veneers so much.
And last but not least, I couldn't scrapbook a kit without a layout dedicated to my 'baby' boy!
Seriously though-isn't he the cutest little puppy! I used the October Afternoon diecut to house my title with a few extra letters I had on hand from Authentique (not part of the kit).
Also, this chipboard was great and went well with the cloud punches I have from fiskars. I just drew a wobbly line around the punched clouds to match the chipboard piece.
All in all this kit was a 10/10 for me. I loved all the pieces. I never used the Dear Lizzy stamp that came with it because it was buried under the piles of stuff and I forgot about it, but it too is very cute and will get some future use for sure!
Were you able to snag a kit or any of these fabulous supplies? What have you created out of it?! LInk it up! I would love to see it!
xoxo
