Oh Scrap!

I had a wonderful time at 'The Paperie' on Friday night. Everyone was very nice and welcoming and I made some new scrapbooking friends and found out about a new scrapbooking board that sounds fantastic!

I did get a ton of scrapbooking done as well. I managed to use up some old Studio Calico kits and scrapped a ton of photos from my weekend in New York in May.

This layout is a general overview of our overnighter in NYC mid-May.

Here are a few details about the layout:
I used a ton of the hipstagram photos that I took. I used the Crate Paper boarders from the 'Toy Box' collection and cut up the numbers from one of the strips to identify what we did in the city. They coordinate with the postage stamp captions at the end of my title 'New York, I Love You' which is from a song that M plays all the time. I misted the American Crafts chip board letters with 'sunshine' Mr. Huey to match the layout. I love these letters because you can alter them to suit your needs.

I also purchased a new set of Hero Arts for Studio Calico stamps. They are beautiful and I can't wait to use them on a layout.

Hope your week is off to a great start!

  7. What a great two pager! I struggle with those most of the time and end up just doing single, but when you want a lot of photos...... TFS
