Tuesday Sharing

I've got another mini-album to share with you today.

This one is inspired by the American Crafts Amy Tangerine line. I used a Jillibean file folder cut in half for the cover and back. Then I misted with some Studio Calico Mr. Huey's and added lots of embellishments from a past Studio Calico kit.

The theme of this album was our food adventures in NYC. If you are a 'foodie' you might recognize the title as a play on words for the television show 'Man vs. Food'. We love food and NYC is a great place to have some yummy adventures. We packed a lot into one day and honestly at the end of the night, a.k.a 8:30, I fell asleep due to a serious food coma. But, it was worth every calorie.

This is the opening page and 'The Story' behind the food frenzy.

I cut my cardstock/pattern paper to the same size as the album and doubled up pages to make them a little thicker and sturdier. I kept the titles of each of the pages simple with a misted Maya Road frame, pattern paper and tiny letter stickers from Authentique.

And another adventure is scrapbooked.

  1. Love your mini Krista. It is gorgeous xxx

  2. Your mini turned out great! Love the fun photos.

  3. I love doing mini albums. Thanks for sharing some new ideas for my to try.

  4. LOVE THIS!!!! Fantastic mini- great photos and I love how you used so many funky patterns in each page- that's something I'm still working on- I tend to use just one of those gorgeous paper per project. I'm in NYC and it makes me want to go out and eat at all these places in one day. ;)

  5. This album is awesome! I love little details and this has so many great ones! Love that little heart clip.

  6. Love your mini. New York is so fun, I gain five pounds when I visit there. I will need to check out the Big Gay Ice Cream Shop. I googled their website and their flavors crack me up.

  7. FAB mini - love the great patterns in your pages. Wonderful job :)

  8. This is perfect! We also love Man vs. Food so your title made me giggle!
