December Daily: A Recap Part 2

Yesterday I featured December 6th to the 13th here on the blog. Here's December 14-20.

Dec. 14:

THIS is my favorite page from my December Daily. I LOVE it. Inspired by something I saw on pinterest, I masked the 'right now' title and used a hipstamatic photo I took of myself. The writing on the right is part of a blog post I wrote about this time in December. I love the way the whole thing came together.

Dec. 15:

Our friends from away had started arriving home for the holidays at this point and a few dropped by to hang out and catch up. I made them some chocolate chip cookies to enjoy.

Dec. 16:

M's Christmas party. It was a fun night with snacks, people watching and loud, terrible music. Got a great shot of us from the party's photographer Sam Russel. He's awesome. Love the way this 'the story' page turned out as well.

Dec. 17:

Finally getting the house decorated. Usually I am one of those people who is chomping at the bit to get the house decorated for Christmas mid-November. But, with the moving it just wasn't possible obviously. So it had to wait for a Saturday afternoon instead.

Dec. 18:

I had to babysit on the 18th. I may be a little biased, but my godson is the cutest child in the world. Don't try to argue because it's futile. He's the most well-behaved baby and darn is that face cute.

Dec. 19:

So, M's work had a cookie contest on Dec. 19 and after some tweeting Karl Wells, a local food critic, came in to judge. My cookies WON! He said they 'danced a jig in his mouth'. It was a very exciting moment for me.

Dec. 20:

My Aunt & Uncle received some bad news this month which brought them and their daughters, my cousins, back to Newfoundland for a little while. To distract the girls, my dad and I took them on a movie date to see 'Chipwreaked'. It was hilarious but what was even funnier were the giant chipmunk characters outside the theatre. Of course, the girls wanted to pose and I had a camera on hand!

Stay tuned. One more recap tomorrow.

  1. LOVE how it came out- the patterns you chose are amazing and I like the different sized photos. My DD is still only on the 22nd- I kinda grew bored with it after a while but I'm finishing it up this weekend. Have a great New Year!
