Date Night at Piatto

So funny story-a few weeks ago I was so excited about going out to a pizza and wine tasting at Piatto-a great restaurant here in town. Well, turns out I had the date wrong and on Friday night we discovered our tickets were for Wednesday-as in 2 days before that. To make a long story short after a confusing phone call the manager was nice enough to put us on the list for the next wine tasting and so this past Wednesday we headed to Piatto for a little date night.





It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

We started with little mini beat & goat cheese salads and mini Caprese salads.



Then we had Caesar salads & tried a few wines.



This was my favorite-a French Chablis.



Then there was the pizza-three different kinds. I can't recall what each of them were but they were delicious.







I think my favorite was the one with the mushrooms and caramelized onions. Delicious.

Red wine isn't my thing but I drank it and pretended to enjoy it. It went down smooth with the pizza.

And then there were the mini desserts- a lemon tart & a flourless chocolate cake.



The atmosphere was fabulous and the company, my handsome husband, was the BEST.

I would def do another wine & pizza tasting again! It was a great way to spend a date night together!
