Procrastinator Over Here

A.k.a 'my simple scrapper layouts are appearing on my blog over a week late'.

Yeah, they were supposed to be up last week but life got in the way. 'Life' has been getting in the way of blogging lately too. If you are a regular follower you might have noticed that I've been a little slack.

I'm working on a little blog revamp and that's been taking some time & frankly, I've just been too busy doing summer stuff to blog lately. Haven't really been feeling motivated either!

Anyways, here are my Simple Scrapper layouts for August.

'Face off' might be one of my favourite photos. Aren't they the cutest?!

Lots & lots of washi tape used on this layout. I created my own background here using lots of washi tape with similar color scheme.

Other than that this layout is pretty simple. I added a little badge from 'A Life Handmade'.

I figured it was time I stopped hoarding them and started using them on layouts. Do you ever do that? Hold on to supplies you love?! I'm guilty of doing it big time.

The supplies in this layout were all using the County Fair kit from SC & one add-on but the name escapes me now!

This layout celebrates Eugene's new love of swimming. I use the word 'love' loosely because frankly he only likes it for about 5 minutes because then he gets cold and he's done!

Another simple one here using all products form the County Fair kit again. The wood veneer letters were my favourite part of this kit. They are just beautiful!

Just a few captions on this layout for the journaling as well.

Summer is in full swing around here if you couldn't tell from the photos in the layouts. We're having lots of fun and we hope you are too!

  1. Oh the washi background is so great! I have not even made a start on any of the Simple Scrapper layouts from July yet. I always have great intentions. I love that green PP you used for the background on your second layout.

  3. Holy Washi tape Batman!
But seriously, that page is awesome. I still prefer the style of simple scrapbook pages. I mean, a 2inch photo on a 12x12 page filled with stunning papers and embellishments is cool, but I suppose my scrapbook pages are functional more than decorative. I like the balance that you have. Happy Long Weekend!
