Transformation

We've been diligently working away at different areas of our house recently. When we bought the house in December we knew that there would be lots of things we wanted to do with it. But, we had to wait until the Spring to work on our little patch of garden and the 'laneway', as we've come to call it, behind our house.

So I took a bunch of pictures of the process and combined them all in one layout. There's a few pics of us cleaning the space-which was a disgusting mess. There's a few of  M doing the work. One of our new patio set and some shopping I did to finish off our projects. Then there's M taking care of his new space.

I used kraft paper and gave it a few brown Mr. Huey splatters to mimic the dirt. I love all the blue in the photos and used that as my base color for my embellishments and my title using American Crafts thickers. I stamped my journaling on a tag and tucked it inside the glassine envelope. I also used the squirrel paperclip that came in my Studio Calico kit 'Story Hour'. The 'HE' badge is from Ormolu and it suited this layout perfectly. You see M has the green thumb in our house. I tend to kill anything that's potted that enters the house.

We can't wait to see our grass sprout and to experience some finer weather so we can use our new patio set. We're looking forward to the summer. Hopefully we'll get some soon!
