Scrapbooking on Wednesday

I LOVE Wednesday craft night. Especially when it involves homemade Oreo mint ice cream birthday pie. Unfortunately, it was devoured before I had a chance to take a picture.

I also love Wednesday because it's "Republic of Doyle" night. It's like a little piece of home every Wednesday. Too bad last night was the season finale! Sooooo good!

I did get a shot of my layout in progress. Inspired by Kelly Purkey's Sketchbook 3 class. I used the first sketch from Monday's email.

Used some old pictures and the Candy Shop kit from Studio Calico. It's shaping up well! I'll post another photo when it's all done.

I also got some happy mail today-new books, a couple I'm reading for book club research for my class, one for myself and The Good Wife Season 1 on DVD.



That makes for a great Wednesday! Hope you're having a swell week!

Craft Night Layouts

Last night was craft night again. This time though there were only two of us and we hung at my house. I set my stuff up on the floor and went to town creating two layouts.

I used up some more of my Who's Who kit from Studio Calico for these two layouts. Unfortunately, it's only a few sneaks because the lighting wasn't good and there's journaling missing from one layout.

Craft Night

I was invited over to a friend's house tonight for 'Craft Night'. I was super excited and I wish I could say that I spent lots of time planning my pages and my supply list for tonight but alas I did not start organizing until a half hour before heading over there.

So I grabbed my Metropolitan kit from Studio Calico and a basket of supplies, 'Little Red Riding Hood' style, and traipsed down the street in the snow.

Everyone else was knitting, quilting, crocheting...



...and there I was making a giant mess on the floor. It was glorious! I managed to put together two layouts-without journaling of course.

I'll post the finished products in the next few days. I need to add some journaling and take pictures in the day light.
