I have been a lazy blogger. No 'Five for Friday' this past week. No weekend posts.
L-A-Z-Y. I blame it all on my “not so lazy” eating and moving habits of the past month.
I have been moving more and eating less this month. M & I are on a mission to get lighter and move faster for the half marathon in May and our lives have been taken over with healthy meals and trips to the gym. I feel better. My pants fit better. The stress I was experiencing in November/ December is non-existent. I am even running better this week. We aren't adhering to any plan in particular but we are cutting calories, watching our portions and making exercise a priority. We have our first weigh in tomorrow. Then I get to eat some treats on the weekend. I am pumped. I won’t go into too many details but my gluttony will satisfy some of the cravings I’ve been having for the past 30 days. I won’t destroy all my hard work but I need this to get me through February. And then there’s shopping in March!
In other news, today is my 8 year dating anniversary with M. It's hard to believe that it's been that long but it has. He doesn't 'observe' this anniversary-he figures our wedding anniversary trumps this date and his stance is that he only celebrates one date (less to remember). But, it does mean that I do get to celebrate Valentine's day which has always been lumped into anniversary celebrations. Our plans are to go out for dinner at a little bistro in Westburo. Yummy!

February is shaping up to be a crazy month! M is heading to Toronto this weekend to pick up J. Our friend Mark is coming next weekend from St. John's. Then we have a long weekend for family day and another one of our friends, coincidentally another Mark, will be here to visit. Our house will be a hotel for the month of February!

February holds a lot of cold weather for me, not my fave! LOL! Congrats on eating less and moving more!
