The Undones

Today I'm sharing one of my 'undone' projects with you! My friend Cathie from With Coffee in Hand has a series on her blog called The Undones. She shares projects that are just not finished from that little pile that we all have-layouts without journaling or pictures or mini albums that just didn't get done.

When I was cleaning out my scrap room I found a few projects that fit that category. So I stuck them in a pile and I'm vowing to get through it!

So this was the layout that I left because I just didn't have time to finish it.


 *The lighting is the pits so I apologize for that! It was nighttime when I was working on it and it was difficult to get a good picture.

And here's the completed version.



It needed a title and lots of embellishment as well as some journaling.



My favorite part are all the fabric leaves from Studio Calico that I painted with a gold Silks and a little Jenni Bowlin cough syrup ink to mimic the leaves in the photo.



And that's one more thing out of that pile and into an album!
