Right Now

Today I'm joining Ali Edwards in her call to document the everyday 'right now' moments of our lives.

listening: More podcasts while walking Eugene & running to The White Wires.
eating: Quick dinners-it's been a busy week around here.
drinking: not enough water
wearing: long sleeves. Temperatures have finally dropped around here. Boot season is right around the corner.
feeling: Anxious about packing for Crop & Create in Ottawa tomorrow.
weather: Perfectly 'fall-ish'. My favourite kind of weather.
watching: 'Walking Dead' to catch up for the premiere. Season premieres.
reading: 'Gone Girl' by Gillian Flynn.
waiting:for this weekends adventure to begin.
wanting: More time in Ottawa. Three days just isn't enough to see and do everything I want to accomplish.
needing: To get my craft life organized when I return. My list to craft to-do's is only getting longer and I haven't crossed much off that list lately.
thinking: about Christmas projects. This year may be the year that there are all kinds of homemade entities on the docket.
enjoying: A day off with my Eugene. He's happy that today is a couch-napping day as opposed to a crate-napping day.
wondering: How big all my former students have gotten-can't wait to visit them tomorrow in O-Town.
wishing: My mom & Dad a big Happy Anniversary! They are celebrating in Hawaii today! Lucky dogs!

Tomorrow's regular 5 For Friday post won't go ahead because I'll be traveling! I'm taking a little break for the next few days to enjoy Crop & Create in Ottawa! Check out my instagram feed for updates!

  1. LOVE the photo and the sun flare. SUPER fun! :)

  2. looking forward to seeing your pics on instagram....can't wait to see the classes you are doing with Vicky Boutin,Kelly Goree and your Idol, Kelly Purkey!!!when you come back home you have to show me the Misting and more mini album class!!!!love it.....lori

  3. I had a chance to combine my two loves in life recently and had a two weeks' holiday in wonderful France, to which I had been before, and had loved so much. I took a little Renault rental car and headed off from Paris, to the Palace of Versailles, to Chartres then southward to sunny Provence, via the Auvergne region, with the Songs of the Auvergne playing repeated on the CD player.
Magnifique, comme toujours. I saw many art galleries and followed the footsteps of artists, like poor Vincent Van Gogh.
Back home all too soon, I ordered a canvas print from, choosing this painting by C├ęzanne,, to remember my trip by.
